The University's Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAAs) provide opportunities to accelerate the impact of your research. The different types of award support University-led activities that develop and foster strategic partnerships for knowledge exchange and impact.

The following Open Call funding opportunities are now open:

ESRC

For projects within the Economic and Social Sciences remit:

ESRC IAA Accelerating Impact Open Call, application deadline 10 November 2025
ESRC IAA Postdoc Impact Award Open Call, EOI deadline 17 October 2025

EPSRC

For projects within the Engineering and Physical Sciences remit:

EPSRC IAA Open Call, application deadline 10 November 2025
GW-SHIFT Sprint Awards for collaborative projects in the field of Hydrogen, application deadline 31 October
