In addition to thought-provoking discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to network, participate in interactive workshops, and enjoy performances from university societies.

The University will also share details on how students can apply to become a university delegate and attend the global One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany.

Bringing One Young World to Bath

The University of Bath has a longstanding academic partnership with One Young World, empowering students through participation at the global summit.

In 2024, four University of Bath students - Miles Pemberton, Rebecca Rowney, Oliver Showell, and Sarah Mclaren - represented the university at the summit in Montréal, Canada. Inspired by their experience, they have returned to lead the organising committee for the local forum, bringing the enthusiasm and impact of One Young World to the university community.

These students have been leading a dedicated committee overseeing planning, partnerships, and marketing to bring the Bath forum to life. Their mission is to foster discussions that drive tangible change on and beyond campus.

Speaking about OYWB 2025, Miles (one of the team leads for this year’s Forum) said:

We’re incredibly excited about this year’s forum! We’ve curated a fantastic mix of speakers across our different themes, and we can’t wait to bring the energy and inspiration of the global summit to students here in Bath.

Be part of OYWB 2025

The OYWB 2025 Forum is an event not just about listening - it’s about engaging, contributing, and taking action. We encourage anyone from the local community interested in tackling pervasive global issues to attend.
