Our new strategy and visual identity help enhance the value of your Bath degree.

At the University of Bath we have ambitious plans for the future. Today, we set these out in our Strategy 2036.

We are building from the strengths we already have in our excellent education, high impact research and outstanding graduate employability, so we can be globally recognised for our impact.

We make futures

More than 3,000 people fed into our Strategy 2036, from current and future students to our staff, alumni, partners in industry, and other civic organisations here in Bath and globally. We have also worked closely with The SU, looking at how we build in their strategic ambitions and the work done through ‘Together We Shape Tomorrow’.

In line with our ambitions for global excellence with impact, we’re also evolving how the University presents itself, and from today you'll start to see changes to our websites, digital channels, and around campus. You’ll notice we’ve retained our Gorgon's head logo, anchoring ourselves in Bath’s history, while evolving it to work better in the digital age. We’re also using new colours and fonts that reflect our heritage in the city of Bath, our campus architecture, and our beginnings as a sociotechnological institute.

How people see and understand Bath matters. It influences how our teaching, research and student experience are recognised, helps ensure that a Bath degree continues to be valued by employers, partners and future students around the world, and supports the University's ability to attract talented students and staff, build partnerships and secure investment.

Our students were involved throughout the strategy and visual identity projects, and helped shape the work through surveys, focus groups, events, and consultation activities. Thank you to everyone who took part.

By strengthening recognition of the University globally, we're helping to protect and enhance the value of your Bath degree for the future.
