Linda showed tremendous dedication to her roles in Finance and in March 2013 she retired from the position of Cashiers Office Supervisor before returning part-time to a Systems Coordinator role.
Martin Williams, Director of Finance, said: “Linda has been one of the constants in the University, having been with us an incredible 40 years. I know we will all miss her.
“She has been a friend and colleague to so many of us over the years and contributed so much both professionally and personally. Our thoughts in particular go to her husband, Rob.”
Linda’s funeral will be at Semington Crematorium on Thursday 3 January at 11:30, going on to the Somerset Arms in Semington afterwards. If you wish to attend, please contact Simon Fenne.
