The University is saddened to learn of the death of Fabio Padiglioni from Hospitality Operations.
As a mark of respect, the 4W Café was closed on Monday 24 March.
Fabio was a key member of the 4W Café team, who said: “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Fabio Padiglioni, who passed away on Sunday 23 of March 2025.
“Fabio passed away too soon in his life and has left a deep void not only in our team but in all our hearts. We will all miss him more than words can express.”
A memorial event, for all staff past and present and students that knew Fabio, will be held in the Claverton Rooms at 4.00pm on Wednesday 26 March.
Books of Condolences are available for you to contribute to, in the Chaplaincy and in the Library. If you'd like to contribute to a fund to support the family, visit GoFundMe.
