Staff training on equality, diversity and inclusion

Find out training available for you or your team, from online to in person sessions.

We recommend all staff take the online Diversity in the Workplace training (also called Diversity and Inclusion in HE), which is mandatory for all managers.

We also offer an online Unconscious Bias module which is a good next step for all staff, and mandatory for managers.

#NeverOK − Tackling Harassment (for Staff) is an online module, mandatory for all staff, and aims to tackle all forms of harassment, bullying and discrimination at the University of Bath.

Updated Disability Awareness training is recommended for all staff, covering foundational knowledge of the 2010 Equality Act, and obligations under it in respect of disability. The training is externally provided (not Bath specific), and covers content on interactions with both staff and students, but contains important updates following the EHRC Advice Note for the HE Sector in July 2024, of which all staff engaging with students should be aware. Note: you will need to select 'course catalogue' within the Learn Upon platform and then enrol on the course from this list.
