Learning Outcomes: At the completion of this unit students should:
* have gained an understanding of the range of knowledge bases underpinning sports policy.
* be able to demonstrate an understanding of UK sports policy and implications for the practice of sports development.
* be able to discuss the role of sport in achieving wider social policy outcomes.

Aims:
* To understand the key sports policies that frame sport in the UK
* To have critically engaged with the main principles of Sports Policy development.

* Evaluate both research and evidence critically and assess a variety of information sources T/A
* Synthesise information from a number of sources in order to gain a coherent understand of theory and practice T/A Professional/Practical:
