1. Explain the layout and operation of propulsion systems and their major components
2. Describe the development and production processes for propulsion systems
3. Apply engineering principles to calculate the performance characteristics of propulsion systems and their components
4. Evaluate the ethical and sustainability considerations that affect the design and production of automotive propulsion systems.

Synopsis: Develop your knowledge of automotive propulsion systems, components, and functionality.
Develop holistic approaches to sustainable propulsion technology selection.
Learn about engineering approaches to analyse the performance of components and full propulsion systems.
Learn about propulsion system trade-off and performance characteristics which account for the impacts of climate change.
