Learning Outcomes: On completion of this unit, you will be able to:
1. Plan and organise a technical or research project/dissertation to meet the requirements of the initial aims.
2. Communicate complex information clearly and effectively, where ethical technology is a common theme.
3. Select relevant literature and research methods as appropriate for the proposed research

Synopsis: Undertake a review of relevant literature and background materials to compile a project plan in preparation for your dissertation.
You will be assigned an individual project in the form of a brief, and a supervisor who can provide further guidance as you develop a research proposal.

* Creating hypothesis, setting out a methodology
* Project planning, resource and risk management, ethics
* Writing research proposal.
