As a key strand of our research into regulation and governance, the Centre for Governance, Regulation and Industrial Strategy (CGR&IS) is exploring international (global, EU), national and sub-national forms of governance, and the broad range of relationships between them.
The evolving nature of these relationships and their implications across a range of sectors (eg. public versus private, utilities and the financial sector) are of particular interest.
- Systemic risk of the financial sector and governance of complex monetary and financial networks (Simone Giansante, Andreas Krause, Ru Xie, Ania Zalewska)
- Governance and collaborative relationships between firms and institutions (Felicia Fai, Phil Tomlinson)
- Micro-firms' management (Marc Betton, Rob Branston)
- Corporate governance, effectiveness of boards, audit and remuneration (Philip Cooper, Pietro Perotti, Ania Zalewska)
