Postgraduate Taught Assessment Regulations (PGTAR)

The PGTAR assessment regulations apply to the following courses:

Faculty of Engineering & Design

  • The following course for students starting from October 2025 or later:

    • MSc Robotics and Autonomous Systems
  • The following course for students starting from October 2023 or later:

    • MSc Engineering Business Management
  • All other courses for students starting from October 2022 or later

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

  • Courses for all students starting from October 202 or later and for all students on the following course:
    • Clinical Associate in Psychology (Degree Apprenticeship)

Faculty of Science

  • The following courses for students starting from October 2025 or later:

    • MSc Computer Science
    • MSc Data Science
    • MSc Statistics and Data Science
    • MSc Data Science and Statistics (Health)
    • MSc Financial Mathematics with Data Science
    • MSc Mathematics with Data Science for Industry
    • PG Cert/Dip Statistical Applied Mathematics
    • MSc Advanced Machine Learning
    • MSc Artificial Intelligence
    • PG Cert/PG Dip/MRes Sustainable Chemical Technologies
  • The following courses for students starting from October 2024 or later:

    • MSc Drug Discovery
