How do you demonstrate the real-world value of your research beyond publications and citations? This workshop on Evidencing and Recording Research Impact will introduce you to practical approaches to defining, measuring, and communicating the difference your work makes.
We will look at why you would want to evidence impact, how to embed impact planning within your research project, and what indicators could be used to demonstrate impact. We'll consider what support is available to you, and what resources and systems we have access to at Bath for managing your impact data across the research lifecycle.
This event is of particular interest to academic research staff and professional services colleagues who support research impact and preparation for REF at the University of Bath.
This event will be held online only, please feel free to bring your lunch!
Lunch with Impact Workshops
This workshop is part of a series supported by the University’s ESRC and EPSRC Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAAs) along with the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF), to support researchers in identifying, generating, evidencing and achieving impact from their research. Sessions are designed to enable attendees to apply the information, knowledge and tools to their own research.
