On Wednesday 20 March the University will be holding its third annual Enterprise Day.
This event is designed to bring together our campus and local business entrepreneurial community so that we can share ideas and celebrate innovation.
Come along to find out more about how you could start your own enterprise and gain insights from those already on their entrepreneurial journey.

Programme
1.00pm: Registration (East Building atrium area) - Santander Start-up Business Fair and Networking
Selected students, graduates and researchers will have pop-up stalls to promote their start-ups.

1.30pm: Welcome from Professor Jonathan Knight, Vice-President Enterprise
1.35-2.15pm: Sesssion, Entrepreneurs in Conversation
A group of entrepreneurs with connections to the University will discuss their business ventures and experiences (Short presentations/panel and Q&A). Those confirmed are George Kalligeros and Professor Marianne Ellis. To be chaired by Professor Sarah Hainsworth OBE, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Enterprise.
2.15-2.30pm: Pitch Your Idea: Quickfire 1 minute student idea presentations (approx 5)
Invited students will deliver their individual elevator business pitch.
2.30-3.15pm: Entrepreneurial Masterclasses
A choice of three different masterclasses will be available:
- Intellectual Property – the do’s and don’ts with Stephen Carter
- Working Towards Investment - Entrepreneurial lessons with David Page
- A Researcher’s Perspective on the Entrepreneurial Journey: Dr Andrew Cookson and Dr Helen Liang
3.15-4.30pm: Networking and Santander Start-up Business Fair & Networking
4.30-5.00pm: Professor Ian White, Vice Chancellor and President (confirmed) My Entrepreneurial Journey: Reflections and Q&A (interviewed by Professor Jonathan Knight)
5.00–5.15pm: Pitch Your Idea (Session 2)
Invited students will deliver their individual elevator business pitch.
5.15-6.00pm: Building an Ecosystem for Innovation Chair: Professor Jonathan Knight, Vice-President Enterprise Andrea Kelly, University of Bath Innovation Centre Millie Stone Remy Foucher
6.15pm: Closing remarks – Professor Jonathan Knight, VP Enterprise
