Criteria for submissions

General

Submissions need to take into account the wide ranging, multi-disciplinary audience.

Posters

You can choose to submit a poster that you have used before or produce something bespoke for this event. If you are submitting a poster that has been used before, you may wish to produce some supplementary material to help make your research more accessible.

Posters should:

  • be A1 in size

  • preferably portrait in orientation

  • take into account the audience who may not understand the complexities of your field.

The Doctoral College will print any new posters for you. Digital copies of new posters will be required by Wednesday 20 March 2019.

Demonstrations and other ideas

These should be:

  • engaging and participative for the audience

  • not too long, so that the audience has time to view your demo or display, alongside other contributors

  • appropriate to be held in the Chancellors' Building. (You will be advised if your idea needs to be risk assessed).
