The roads in and around Bath can get very busy, particularly on Open Days, and our campus car parks can fill up fast.
Before you decide to park on campus, think about other ways you could travel to the Open Day.
Driving to campus
Before you drive to the Open Day, check for local roadworks and travel information.
Bath’s nearest motorway link is junction 18 on the M4, about 10 miles from the University.

Finding parking spaces on campus
When you arrive at the campus, use the east entrance on Claverton Down Road (turning onto Norwood Avenue), then follow signs to visitor parking.
Our Security and Parking team will direct you to available spaces.
Parking on campus is free on University Open Days.
Accessible parking spaces
If you're a Blue Badge holder, you can park in accessible parking spaces close to the main campus.
You can ask a member of our Security and Parking team to give you directions to available spaces.

Electric vehicle (EV) parking
There are a very limited number of EV charging points around campus. If you park at a charging point, please move your vehicle when it's charged so others can use it.

Parking a minibus on campus
If you're arriving by minibus, please email opendays@bath.ac.uk to let us know in advance.
We'll give you a parking permit and ask our Security team to expect you.
Driving a coach to campus
If you're driving a group to campus on a contracted coach, you must drop off your passengers as directed and collect them at an arranged time.
We don't have coach parking facilities on campus.
You must not park coaches on local streets.
