The Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Activity Fund provides up to £550 to support activities that involve patients, carers, members of the public and community groups in shaping research. The fund is designed to help you improve the quality, relevance, and impact of your research through meaningful involvement and engagement, at any stage of the research process.

Applications are open to University of Bath researchers and research enablers throughout the year and are reviewed monthly. Before applying, please read the Applicant Guidance document and complete the Application Form.

If you would like advice on planning a PPIE activity, recruiting public contributors, facilitation, or evaluation, support is available from the Public Engagement Unit and the Department for Health.
