Opportunities to try out the calculators

If you'd like to familiarise yourself with the model you may borrow one briefly from the Library Reader Services Desk.

Use of own calculators

If your examination permits the use of your own calculator, you are expected to bring one with you. University calculators will not be available to borrow at the venue.

Procedures for invigilators

Information about the use of calculators is contained in the Invigilation Notices which are sent out in the internal mail by Academic Registry.

University porters will place a University Calculator on the relevant desks alongside additional examination materials in each main venue.

In all cases where the use of University Calculators is required, candidates supplied with them will be required to quote the calculator number on each cover page of their script. Failure to quote the number may result in disciplinary action which may include the imposition of a fine.
