The Student Immigration Service provides specialist advice on UK visas and immigration for current students at the University of Bath. We can support you with questions about your Student visa, visa conditions and immigration processes during your studies.
Appointments are available every weekday, Monday to Friday between 10:00-16:00 (UK time) subject to availability. Visa advice appointments are 15 minutes long, Student visa extension appointments are 1 hour long. Both appointments are available online via Microsoft Teams or in person in Wessex House 8.15.
Visa advice appointments
If you are a current University of Bath student, these 15 minute appointments are suitable if you are preparing a Student visa application or have any questions about your Student visa.
Your adviser will help you understand your visa responsibilities and plan your next steps. Your session may include:
- guidance on your visa conditions and compliance with the Academic Engagement Monitoring requirements
- support with your eVisa or advice on how to correct any errors
- talking through changes to your study (placements, course changes, going into suspense)
- discussing your options for the Graduate Route or Skilled Worker visas
- being directed to specialist support or follow-up appointments if needed
Student visa extension appointments
If you need to extend your Student visa, you can book a one-hour appointment and complete your application with support from the Student Immigration Service.
