The Student Immigration Service provides specialist advice on UK visas and immigration for applicants to the University of Bath. We can help with questions about the Student visa route, ATAS and other visa requirements before you start your studies.
What to expect from a visa advice appointment
If you are an offer holder or prospective student, you can book an online visa advice appointment. These sessions are suitable if you are preparing a Student visa application or have questions about eligibility, documents, CAS information or next steps
During your appointment, an adviser will work with you to help you move forward with your visa application. This could include:
- talking through the steps you need to take for your Student visa application
- helping you understand which documents you need and how to prepare them
- giving guidance on financial evidence requirements
- clarifying how the CAS process works and what your next steps are
- sharing useful resources or directing you to relevant guidance

Book a visa advice appointment
Appointments are available every weekday, Monday to Friday between 10:00-16:00 (UK time) subject to availability. Appointments are 10 minutes long and are held online via Microsoft Teams.
