The University received planning consent for the construction of Polden in September 2016.

Polden will be located on the western side of the Claverton Down campus, close to Polden Court.

Accommodation will consist of 293 ensuite bedrooms in 37 flats across two buildings arranged around a landscaped courtyard. The flats are organised in pairs with a shared kitchen, diner and flexible social space.

Facilities in Polden will include:

It will open in autumn 2018.
