The Safety Standard describes the University's arrangements for assessing and managing EMF risks in the workplace. The standard sets out the roles and responsibilities of Heads of Department, Line Managers, Supervisors and Workers to implement these arrangements.

The risk assessment document sets out likely hazards and potential control measures to be implemented. Departments are responsible for amending the template to fit their specific context.

The current standard and risk assessment template was reviewed and agreed at UHSC in June 2023. The next scheduled review for these documents is June 2026.
