On this page you'll find examples of good practice objectives for probationary lecturers who specialise in both teaching and teaching & research to help inform your meeting for setting objectives when they start at the University. The good practice examples are based on the criteria for passing probation found in appendix 1 of the CPER.
Final objectives will be specific to the individual and discipline.
Once objectives have been agreed between the probationary lecturer, the HoD/Reviewer and the Dean of Faculty/School, they must be submitted to the Academic Career Progression Team.
