Use these documents to help you identify hazards and to manage workplace health and safety risks.

The risk assessment safety standard describes the University's arrangements for identifying workplace health and safety hazards and for managing significant risks. You can use the editable template to record the findings of your risk assessments.
Both documents were reviewed and agreed by UHSC in June 2022. At this review, some of the definitions given were amended to reflect current wording used by the Health and Safety Executive in their risk assessment guidance.
Both documents are next due to be reviewed at UHSC in September 2025.
