Policy Brief
The Public Engagement Unit, with funding from UKRI, investigated the take-up and impact of training and professional development opportunities for researchers in public engagement as part of the ChallenegeCPD@Bath (2017-2019)
This report outlines the findings from the evaluation of using the draft framework of good practice principles for public engagement developed between the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement and University of Manchester, exploring how the framework could improve training, how it was perceived by researchers and by those who deliver training, and to see if may inadvertently raise barriers to participation in public enagement with research or training.
