The University's governing documents set out how the University is constituted, governed and regulated. Together, they provide the legal and regulatory framework within which the University operates.

The Charter and Statutes establish the University's objects, powers and governance structure. Supporting these are the Ordinances, which provide more detailed provisions on matters of governance, management and administration.

The Framework for Elections and Appointments sets out arrangements for elections and appointments to the University's governing and academic bodies. The Student Regulations govern students' academic studies, conduct and other aspects of student life.
