This is open to University of Bath staff and students and external participants to look at impacts, coping and proactive interventions for secondary trauma.

  • 29 May 2024, 9.30am to 29 May 2024, 12.30pm BST (GMT +01:00)
  • This is an online event.
  • Price: £20.00 (GBP)

The session kicks-off Research Culture Month which is taking place throughout June.

The event is part of the University of Bath Researcher Wellbeing Project funded by our UKRI Research England Research Culture Fund. In the training we will be talking briefly about the findings of the research, including the potential of secondary trauma. We will also help you develop your own Researcher Wellbeing Plans, talk about how to build funding for these plans into future research projects, and discuss how to do a Risk Assessments that considers the emotional impacts of potentially distressing research.

We are also very pleased to announce the launch of our project webpages and resources. This includes tips on including researcher wellbeing in funding bids, guidance on how to do a Researcher Wellbeing Plan, and what to do if a researcher or participant gets distressed.
