The management of Research and Innovation Services is led by Dr Alison Evans, Interim Director of Research and Innovation Services (RIS). For any queries contact Kay Gallagher, PA to Director.
Research Grant Development - We support academic staff to secure grant funding and realise their research ambitions
Pre-Award- We help academics prepare funding proposals and accept and set up research awards
Research and Commercialisation Contracts - We are responsible for setting up and supporting contracts between academics and external organisations
Research Project Management Service - We offer professional project management support to academic staff, giving you more time to carry out your research
Post-Award - We manage financial administration for current research projects, including audits and claims to sponsors
Industrial Partnerships - We help academic staff build relationships with industry partners, apply for funding and manage projects in support of internal and external strategies
Consultancy Services - We make it possible for academics to provide expert advice to businesses and organisations on a range of industrial or commercial problems
Research Information and Impact - We manage the University’s research information so it can be used for strategic decision making and communicating the benefits and impact of our research
Enterprise and Innovation Centre - We support potential high-growth businesses and the entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers who create them
