During the third year of his Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering degree, Patrick McLaughlin went on placement at the Centre for Modelling & Simulation. The Centre is a not-for-profit specialist in high value design. During his placement, Patrick learnt about programming and machine learning and worked on a project to develop a Raspberry Pi robot.
