Developing a temperature sensing glove to monitor the Raynaud's condition

During our group design and business project students pitch their ideas to our Industrial Advisory Board in a Dragons' Den style event.

‘The dragon takes the role of judging the project; looking at its applicability... at how well the students have taken it from an idea to moving it to something potentially useful to industry.’
Rick Hillum CEO of HPC Wales

Our MEng students spend the entire second semester of their third year working on a group design and business project. Halfway through the project they pitch their ideas at our Dragons' Den style event, where they receive feedback on their business plan from our Industrial Advisory Board. The teams then develop their projects further before showcasing their final prototypes at the Design Exhibition.

This is the story of how Caroline, James, Harry, Jonas, Rhianna and Krasimir impressed the dragons with their device to monitor the Raynaud's condition.
