Project qualifications studied alongside A levels are an excellent preparation for University.

For the majority of our courses, we are able to offer an alternative offer to A level students who are studying a project qualification alongside A levels. Where applicable the alternative offer is one A level grade below our typical offer. Further details are available in the entry requirements section of our course finder.

We value a range of project qualifications including:

  • the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
  • the Cambridge Pre-U Global Perspective Short Course
  • the Skills Challenge Certificate component of the Welsh Baccalaureate
  • the International Baccalaureate Extended Essay component
