Whatever you want to do in the future – whether your career path is clear or not – your Careers team are here to support you.

Drop-in support from the Careers Helpdesk

The Careers Helpdesk is available 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday on campus and remotely.

You can get immediate assistance with your career questions or get help with an application. No appointment is necessary - just drop in or contact us when you need us.

In most cases we will either:

  • be able to help you right away
  • hand you over to one of our on-call staff for more in-depth support

Depending on how busy the drop-in is, you will get around 10-15 minutes with our staff.

If you are away from Bath, we can arrange a remote Teams or phone call with our on-call staff if needed.

Please note that we are not able to provide feedback via email on applications.

There are occasions where the Careers Centre is closed. Check our planned closures page for the latest updates.

Booked appointments

We also offer bookable appointments. These can be useful if you:

  • have already got help from the Careers Helpdesk
  • prefer discussing your career path or application in a private, quiet environment
  • want to meet at a particular date/time convenient for your schedule
  • would prefer to see a specific member of staff

Appointments are available in-person and remotely.
