Queen's Anniversary Prize
We held the Queen’s Anniversary Prize conference on the 30 March 2012 to present some of the research that led to the prize, and discuss its importance in the times of austerity through which we are now living.
You can view videos from a number of the prize winning academics from the University of Bath that bring together the disciplines of social policy, social work and development studies, spanning rich and poor countries and showing how poverty and insecurity are connected world-wide.
At the conference, we also welcomed a number of distinguished speakers including, Susan Duncan (current president of the Social Policy Association), Alison Marshal (UNICEF), Professor Paul Gregg, and Dr Susan Harkness.
The abstracts of all the papers presented at the conference can be found in the conference programme.
