Chaplaincy
The Chaplaincy will be open from 8am to 10pm every day during Christmas and New Year.
For urgent support over the Christmas and New Year period, University Chaplain Nigel Rawlinson can be contacted by email from 29th December onwards, at n.rawlinson@bath.ac.uk, and will be in the chaplaincy on 30th – 31st December, and Chaplain Karen Turner can be contacted by email on 26 - 27th December – kt603@bath.ac.uk.
Nigel Rawlinson will also be in Bath Abbey on Christmas Day at the 11.30am service and will next be in Bath Abbey on Sunday, 5th January.
Skills Centre
Skills Centre (Academic Skills & Language Skills)
The Skills Centre will be closed from 5pm on 23 December 2024 to 9am on 2 January 2025.
Skills Centre (MASH)
The MASH Team will operate limited online services between 16 - 20 December and be closed completely from 23 December 2024 - 3 January 2025 inclusive.

University Medical Centre
The Practice will be operating normal business hours, excluding the three bank holidays - Wednesday 25 December, Thursday 26 December and Wednesday 1 January - when they will be closed.
University Dental Centre
Please note that this provision is only for existing patients of the practice. If you have a dental emergency and are not registered with a dentist, please call 111 for information.
If you have an emergency during our opening hours, please call us on 01225 333931. If you have a dental emergency outside of our normal opening hours (evenings and weekends) or on a bank holiday, please dial 111 who will arrange provision if needed.
Mail Room
Courier Christmas Opening hours for the Mail Room (Departmental): Closed from 16:30 on Monday 23 December to 08:00 on Thursday 2 January.
SPC Christmas Opening hours for the Student Parcel Office: Closed from 17:00 on Monday 23 December to 10:00 on Thursday 2 January.
Computing Services/ IT Purchasing (ITP)
Closed inline with University closure.
Library Services
The Library building is open to University of Bath students and staff 24 hours a day, all year round including all national and University holidays though staffed services will vary.
There will be no staffed services during the Christmas and New Year vacation period from Tuesday 23 December to Wednesday 1 January 2025. Normal services resume on Thursday 2 January.
Print Services
Closed from 12pm Friday 20 December until 9am Thursday 2 January.
Campus Infrastructure
Campus Infrastructure will be closed from Monday 23rd December 16:20 and reopens on Thursday 2nd January at 08:00.
Routine faults can still be reported via the online reporting system found on the departments' web pages, but they will not be dealt with until the department reopens. In the event of an urgent maintenance request or emergency during this time, please call Security.
Security are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you are staying in your accommodation over Winter Break and need support during this time, please contact Security 5349 (internal) 01225 385349 (external).

ResLife opening times:
West Accommodation Centre, Aquila Court Reception, and Green Park House Reception: Closed from 24 December 2024 to 2 January 2025.
John Wood Reception: Closed from 20 December 2024 to 2 January 2025.
East Accommodation Centre: Closed from 20 December 2024 to 6 January 2025.
The Virgil Building will be closed from the 25 December to the 26 December and then open again from the 27 December to the 30 December, from 10am to 7pm. It will be closed from 31 December to 2 January, after which normal opening times will resume.
Buses
U1 and U2
There are changes to services between 15th December 2024 - 4th January 2025 (inclusive).
The U1 Christmas timetable 2024 is available online.
There will be no U2 running over this period.

The last day for the 22 service will be the 13th December and will resume on the 6th January.
