Our thoughts are with all those affected, their families and friends as well as our community of students and staff here at Bath who may be affected by this news.

According to Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice, anyone worried that family might have been affected should call the New Zealand Police hotline from within New Zealand (+64) 0800 115 019, or register with the Restoring Family Links (RFL) website from overseas.
