We support business engagement
Ignite+ is a fully-funded event series from the University of Bath for businesses and external organisations to engage with us and discover how our research can address your challenges. Each Ignite+ event puts a spotlight on different sector themes, of which the University has strengths in both research and its external application. Businesses attending Ignite+ events can hear from our academic experts and engage in Q&As and round table discussions to explore how we can work together.
Shorter business-focused Ignite+ events are also available for our researchers
We also deliver Ignite+ Bitesize for academic staff at the University of Bath. These shorter and more concise Ignite+ events are only 20 minutes in duration, providing information on key topics and mechanisms for external research collaborations.

Since the Ignite+ series was launched in 2022 we have run events on Innovate UK's Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) scheme, linking forward thinking businesses with the UK's world class knowledge base, and on the future of the augmented human, exploring neuro technological interfaces, sensor technology in sport and neurotech regulation.
The Business Partnerships and Knowledge Team in Research and Innovation Services (RIS) at the University of Bath delivers the Ignite+ event series. We work with academic staff and external organisations to build research partnerships.
