Description: Aims:
To develop key conceptual and contextual knowledge of exercise and sports physiological issues surrounding working with specific populations in a sports performance environment.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
* Effectively identify key physiological issues when working with specific populations in a sports performance environment;
* Discuss the underpinning physiology from an exercise and sports perspective;
* Analyse, reflect, evaluate and critically appraise the performance needs of a population and their relevance to a specific sports performance context.
