Choosing your units online

This page confirms when students can choose their units for the 2026/27 academic year and links to supporting guidance and resources.

Continuing Undergraduate Students

Continuing undergraduate students will be asked to choose optional units for the 2026/27 academic year in April 2026. Online unit selection will be open from midday 22nd April and will close at 2pm on 29th April.

New Undergraduates and Taught Postgraduate Students

Year 1 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students will be able to select any optional units via SAMIS during Welcome Week in September 2026:

  • Year 1 Undergraduates: Dates and times to be confirmed.
  • Taught Postgraduate students starting in September 2026: Dates and times to be confirmed.
