The University uses digital recording and transcription of notes for formal meetings. Providing all parties involved have given their consent, a recording device will be used at meetings to provide an accurate and complete record of the discussions.
Data, in terms of the digital recording of the meeting, is stored on a secure hosted server for a period of 45 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
Once the transcribed notes have been received, all parties involved will be given 5 days to consider and verify them. Following this, the transcribed notes will be retained securely and the recording will be permanently deleted from the University systems.
