A one-day event showcasing career options for women in maths across academia and industry. Providing an opportunity network with other female mathematicians.

The Women In Maths group at the University of Bath is excited to hold its Women in Maths Conference 2020, free for all university members to attend. Our aim is to showcase the career opportunities for women working in mathematics and encourage networking between women at all levels of their careers. There will be speakers from both academia and industry, discussing their work as well as their experience of being a woman in mathematics.

Each session of talks will be followed by a panel discussion where there will be an opportunity to ask the guest speakers questions. Free lunch and tea and coffee will be provided. Feel free to drop in and out of the various sessions throughout the day.
