About the role

Do you thrive on the development and delivery of innovative and compelling marketing initiatives to a diverse range of international stakeholders across a mix of online and offline channels?

We are looking for a proactive and creative marketing professional to join our small, busy team to support on the planning, development and implementation of the Faculty of Engineering and Design’s integrated, imaginative and multi-channel marketing activities.

You will contribute to the development of new content and the implementation of campaigns that are strategically crafted to target key audiences and ensure the achievement of Faculty and University objectives for recruitment, research reputation and internationalisation across the UK and internationally.

You will also provide input into the marketing strategy including gathering market intelligence and research to feed into planning and coordinating activities.  

About you

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • experience in the creation and implementation of marketing content across a range of online and offline channels
  • excellent copywriting skills 
  • proven experience of creating video and photo content to support advertising campaigns
  • a strong track record of achieving results from the successful implementation of a variety of content formats across a range of marketing channels including web, social media, digital advertising, CRM communications, events, and PR

Experience of the higher education sector and a professional marketing qualification, such as CIM or equivalent, would be a bonus.

About us

The Faculty Marketing and Web Team is responsible for the timely and effective communication of the Faculty's rich and diverse taught course and research portfolio. We plan, deliver and track the effectiveness of campaigns across a range of marketing channels including web, social media, digital advertising platforms, email communications, events and PR.

Our campaigns are tailored to key stakeholder groups based both in the UK and internationally and are highly targeted to ensure the campaigns contribute to the Faculty of Engineering and Design achieving its commercial and strategic objectives. We are a small, proactive and busy team.
