We are currently recruiting qualified and non-qualified Nursery staff to be part of our friendly Westwood family on a rolling recruitment programme.
Experience of working in a nursery environment would be an advantage and if qualified you should have a minimum Level 2 NVQ Childcare & Education qualification (or equivalent).
Main duties will include:
- Provide a friendly, caring and relaxing atmosphere in a clean, safe environment
- Ensure all daily routines are adhered to
- Plan and carry out activities in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Undertake light laundry and kitchen duties
- Communicate with parents and other visitors in a calm, friendly, confidential manner.
Our 48 place Day Nursery catering for children from 6 months to 5 years, is looking to recruit staff on an hourly-paid basis to cover periods of high demand or staff shortages. These employment opportunities are for working on an "as and when" basis.
