Occupational driving code of practice
Advice and guidance for occupational drivers and their line managers.

This code of practice sets out the University's approach to driving of any type of vehicle and applies to all staff who drive on University business. The COP was reviewed and agreed at UHSC June 2026. The next scheduled review for these documents is June 2029. An earlier review will be carried out if there are significant changes in statutory requirements, sector technical guidance or other applicable standards.
