This code of practice sets out the University's approach to working with hazardous chemicals in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations. The COP was reviewed and agreed at UHSC June 2026. The next scheduled review for these documents is June 2029. An earlier review will be carried out if there are significant changes in statutory requirements, sector technical guidance or other applicable standards.
