The children and young people safety standard and the associated risk assessment guidance were reviewed and agreed by UHSC on 9 March 2021.

An additional guidance document for people who will be organising or supervising work experience for year 10 to 12 school pupils was published in March 2023. This document supports the University's work experience offer that is managed by our Recruitment Team.

The next review of the safety standard and associated risk assessment guidance, including the work experience guidance, is scheduled for March 2024.
