How to endow your gift to the University

Find out how you can make a gift to the University go further.

Endowment funds

The donation you make to the University can be endowed. This means that the lump sum is invested, and produces a regular return which goes to fund your chosen project.

Funds may be designated to benefit academic or non-academic posts, students, programmes, physical spaces, or specific departments or centres. They are typically named after the donor or a person the donor wishes to recognise.

It's like having your own charitable trust, which continues to support the University in perpetuity, but we undertake all the investment and administration on your behalf. This makes it easy for you to support the University in the long term, without any need to make regular payments or proactively track your investment.
