Student surveys
We recognise that students are the major stakeholder in higher education. Effectively engaging with students and collecting feedback on their experience is a key part of ensuring quality learning and teaching.
The commitment of the higher education community at the national level to listen to the ’student voice’ led to the introduction of the National Student Survey (NSS) for final year undergraduates and PTES and PRES for postgraduates.
We aim to ensure that the role of feedback and representation in quality enhancement is clear. Our commitment to this is demonstrated by:
- the Unit and Programme Evaluation
- the importance of Staff Student Liaison Committees
- the representative role of the Students' Union at an institutional level.
