LGBT+ History Month is a month-long annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and non-binary history, including the history of LGBT+ rights and related civil rights movements.

Student Support offers support to all students in the University of Bath community. As part of LGBT+ history month we are highlighting our popular workshop and resources that support our LGBTQ+ community including:

LGBTQ+ guides

Our LGBTQ+ guides act as a resource to support our students that identify as LGBTQ+, those questioning or those that want to be an active ally, we have produced a number of simple guides to provide support and resources. These include:

  • Support as a trans student

Coming Out with Confidence workshop February 14

This workshop is for LGBTQ+ students who may experience anxiety around the continual process of ‘coming out’ to friends, family, and new colleagues. We will help you build tools to manage anxiety, share tips for assertive communication and maintaining your identify.

LGBTQ+ Brunch and Support group.

LGBTQ+ Brunch and Support is a monthly support group for students who want a safe space to meet and feel more confident and comfortable with their LGBTQ+ identity and for students who are questioning or exploring their identity.
