Join our community of changemakers
- sign up and get involved with Green Impact at Bath, attend the online launch event on Tuesday 30 September from 2 to 3pm to find out more
- become or support a Climate Advocate within an academic department
- share best practice with us and the growing sustainability community by joining the Sustainable Bath Network on Teams
Embed sustainability into your research practice
- join LEAF (Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework) to make impactful sustainability action in your lab
- as LEAF relaunches in September 2025, there will be various engagement stalls across departments in September and October, get in touch with leaf@bath.ac.uk to find out more
- we have joined with others in the research sector in committing to sustainable research and innovation practices – find guidance and resources designed to help our research community
- check your funder’s requirements for sustainable practice – if you are applying for funding from Cancer Research UK or Wellcome Trust, you will need to achieve LEAF certification by the end of 2025
- learn about the importance of sustainability in lab practices through our changemaker community by joining our growing LEAF network on Teams

More than 50% of departments across the University are now actively engaged in a staff sustainability programme, which includes over 350 members of staff. Collectively, we can embed sustainability into everything we do at Bath.
