Architecture offer holder days

We run visit days for our undergraduate degree offer holders on select days between February and April. Find out why you should attend one.

After you receive an offer to study one of our undergraduate courses, we'll email you to invite you to one of our offer holder days. We offer a selection of dates where you can choose to visit us in person on a campus-based day or join us online at an interactive virtual event.

We usually run these between February and April. You'll be able to choose which day you would like to attend, but it's best to book early as dates can fill up fast. We'll give you information about travelling here and how to let us know about any accessibility or dietary requirements in your invitation email.

Gain better insight into your course

Helping you to make the right decision.

We've planned our days in a way that gives you plenty of opportunities to ask informal questions and talk with staff and students.

Our Director of Recruitment, Access & Admissions will be on hand to tell you more about how our courses are structured and assessed, the topics you will study, and our placements scheme. You'll have opportunities to talk to students from different year groups, gaining a real insight into how your knowledge and ability will develop during the degree. You'll find out what architecture is about, and what it's like to be a student at Bath.

If you visit us in person, our students will take you on a tour of our Department facilities. This will include the design studio spaces and computer suites where our students develop their work, and the fourth-year studios where you can see the individual projects final-year students are working on. You'll also take part in a mini-design exercise with our students. Working in a group, you'll develop a design idea, build a model, and present your work to other groups. This is a taster of how you'll develop architectural solutions in your career.

Get a feel for campus and city life

Explore our campus and take the opportunity to visit the city after your day with us.

While you're here, you can book one of our campus tours or take a self-guided tour around campus. It's a great chance to see what the University is like on a typical day and experience the atmosphere of students and staff going about their business.

Campus life isn't just about studying and there are many ways that you can make the most of your university experience. We'll provide you with a map so you can visit our Sports Training Village (STV), where you'll have access to the same facilities used by Olympic athletes. You can see our Students' Union, which houses the Student Centre, food outlets, and the campus pub and nightclub. You can also visit The Edge, our arts centre, where you can take dance, art and music classes.

The city of Bath is only 10 minutes away by bus, so we advise you to visit the city after your day with us has finished.

Are you unable to attend an offer holder day?

We offer a range of dates so you can choose to attend one that best suits you.

If you don't live in the UK, we understand it may be difficult to visit the University in person on the dates given. We also offer online events for you to meet our staff and students virtually, discover more about your course, and ask questions.

If you think that you can attend campus but not on one of our dates, please contact the Department and we will do our best to arrange an individual visit with our team.
