DDaT Service Changes

Your digital, data and technology services are changing. Find out when and what it means for you.

Why are my services changing?

DDaT is rebalancing IT and AV services to enable the delivery of vital digital and technology projects.

Digital technologies are advancing at an increased pace and bring opportunities to enrich teaching and research environments.

To deliver Bath’s ambitious Digital Strategy, the University Executive Board (UEB) has asked that DDaT deliver IT and AV services more effectively and focus more staff resources on delivering vital digital and technology projects for the University.

These changes are part of the DDaT Evolution Project.

Your Service Changes

When specific DDaT services are changing and what it means for you.

DDaT is currently reviewing all its digital, data and technology services across campus.

We are mindful that our services support vital activities throughout the University and will work with impacted teams, staff and students to ensure we minimise adverse impacts of DDaT service changes.

From 8 April 2024 and over the coming months, we will gradually change some DDaT services.

Requesting DDaT Support

To support DDaT staff as we roll out service changes, we ask that you refrain from requesting IT or AV support directly from individual DDaT staff members.

The fastest way to get help is to log a request via TOPdesk. Alternatively, phone us or visit the IT & AV Service Desk in the Library. Find out more.
